Polestar stripped of US sales authorization for 2027 models — and doesn't know why

Polestar has been stripped of its authorization to sell cars in the United States for model year 2027 onward. The automaker says it has received no explanation from U.S. government authorities for the decision. The move casts serious uncertainty over Polestar's future on one of its key markets.
