Russian AI drone may have selected its own target in Zaporizhzhia, colonel warns
According to the New York Times, a Russian drone that struck a petrol station in Zaporizhzhia in July, killing three people, may have autonomously selected its target using artificial intelligence. Ukrainian Colonel Serhiy Minaiev warned that the development is a threat to the whole world, comparing the prospect to the "Terminator" scenario. If confirmed, it would be a landmark and alarming precedent in the history of armed conflict.
