AS Roma beat ACF Fiorentina 4-0 to become the first league leader of the Serie A season. Dutch striker Donyell Malen scored a hat-trick, with all three of his goals assisted by Paulo Dybala. Polish defender Jan Ziółkowski remained on the bench throughout the match.
