Poles honoured by Ukraine on 35th anniversary of its independence

Celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of Ukrainian independence concluded in Warsaw. Notable Poles who have supported Ukraine received special awards from Ukrainian representatives. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek attended and expressed his hope for Ukraine's accession to NATO and the EU. The anniversary was also celebrated in Lublin.
