Trump admin reopens border crossing for Mexican cattle to fight record beef prices
The Trump administration has reopened a border crossing to cattle imports from Mexico in an effort to bring down record beef prices in the United States. Mexico traditionally supplies about 1.1 million head of cattle per year, around 3% of the US cattle supply. The move is intended to ease price pressure in the beef market.
