European anti-missile pledges for Ukraine are symbolic — none will be ready for years, expert warns

None of the announced systems will be operational for years, while Ukraine urgently needs interceptors capable of defeating Russian ballistic and hypersonic missiles. With winter approaching, Ukraine remains exposed to Russian strikes on its energy infrastructure.
