Gawkowski: 11 same-sex couples receive Polish marriage certificates under new rules

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitisation Krzysztof Gawkowski announced that by Monday morning 11 same-sex couples had received new marriage certificates in Poland, following a regulation allowing the transcription of marriages contracted abroad. Gawkowski stressed that failure to implement the regulation constitutes a breach of law.
