Forced mobilisation in Russia: secret detentions reported across 17 regions

Russia's independent outlet Verstka reports that human rights organisations have collected complaints from at least 17 Russian regions about coercive military recruitment in recent weeks. Men are being secretly detained and forced to sign contracts with the defence ministry. Activists say recruiters deliberately target men in vulnerable circumstances.
