Andalusia records 52 West Nile fever cases — twice last year's national total

Andalusia in southern Spain has recorded 52 West Nile fever infections, mostly in Seville province — more than double the national total for the entire previous year. Sixteen patients are in serious condition, while the rest have mild symptoms. Spain joins Greece and North Macedonia as countries affected by the virus this season.
