Biedronka, Lidl and Dino sell milk from the same dairies as their own-brand products
Polish dairies have for years been supplying milk both under their own brands and under discount retailers' private labels — including competing chains such as Biedronka, Dino and Lidl. The real producer is typically revealed only in small print on the back of the carton. As a result, shoppers paying for a branded product may be buying something identical to a cheaper own-label version.
