Zondacrypto suspect Kral to inform on PiS instead of facing fraud charges

The Zondacrypto scandal — in which clients were defrauded of 2.4 billion złoty and one person was reportedly murdered — has taken a new political turn. Suspect Przemysław Kral, instead of going into hiding, is now reportedly set to inform on PiS politicians. His new lawyer is Roman Giertych, a move commentators say is shifting the case from a criminal affair to a political one.
