Polish farmers risk losing fertiliser subsidies over restrictive EU rule
The European Commission has allocated €66.63 million to Poland for fertiliser subsidies linked to the Middle East crisis. However, the National Council of Agricultural Chambers (KRIR) has voiced strong opposition to restrictions on the eligibility period, warning that many farmers could be left without the aid because of the rule's wording.
