ChatGPT alerted police to kidnap and murder plan — Goldman Sachs analyst arrested
Darren Shida Zhou, a 25-year-old Goldman Sachs analyst from Florida, was arrested in May after ChatGPT flagged his conversation in which he sought to plan the kidnapping, rape and murder of his ex-girlfriend. OpenAI reported the suspicious session to law enforcement, leading to his arrest.
