Poland's Piorun missile becomes export hit after proving itself in Ukraine

Poland's Piorun man-portable air-defence missile has become an export success after proving highly effective in Ukraine, where it destroyed aircraft, helicopters and drones. The system is praised for its light weight and resistance to electronic jamming. Poland has signed new export contracts, and a successor system — Piorun 2 — is already in development.
