Sánchez calls National Security Council meeting 26 days into Ceuta migration crisis

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has convened a meeting of the National Security Council for Tuesday over the migration crisis in Ceuta, 26 days after tens of thousands of people crossed from Morocco and overwhelmed local authorities. It is the first such emergency council meeting since the crisis began; Sánchez had previously held only two online ministerial coordination calls. The meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. at Moncloa Palace in Madrid.
