Czech Gripens scrambled as Kraków and Katowice airports briefly halted over lost radio contact

Airports in Kraków and Katowice briefly suspended operations after radio contact was lost with a small civilian aircraft in the area. Czech Gripen fighter jets on NATO air-policing duty were scrambled in response to the incident. Normal operations resumed after a short time once the situation was resolved.
