Piorun missile contract signed — Lithuania, Latvia and Norway join Poland's order

A framework contract for several thousand Piorun man-portable air-defence systems was signed in Skarżysko-Kamienna, covering deliveries to the Polish Armed Forces as well as the militaries of Lithuania, Latvia and Norway. The deal marks a significant vote of confidence in Polish defence industry from NATO allies. Signatories emphasised the order would strengthen the alliance's short-range air defences.
