Pellet at 2,500 PLN per tonne — Poles cross into Lithuania to buy cheaper fuel

Certified A1-class wood pellet in Poland now costs up to 2,500 PLN per tonne. Faced with soaring fuel prices, Poles are flocking to producers and shopping centres in Lithuania to find cheaper pellets, according to the Lithuanian website suvalkietis.lt. The trend is intensifying ahead of the heating season.
