Nine years on, Rohingya refugees still cannot return to Myanmar

Nine years after Rohingya Muslims were driven from Myanmar, claims of progress on refugee returns have renewed talk of repatriation, but a return remains out of reach for most. Security conditions and the political situation inside Myanmar have not improved sufficiently to make safe returns possible. The crisis involving one of the world's largest refugee populations remains unresolved.
