Armenia seeks to leave Russia's CSTO military alliance; Kremlin says: go ahead

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that his country would not object to being removed from the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), Russia's military alliance. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded curtly: "If they want to leave, let them leave." Armenia has been gradually distancing itself from Moscow in recent years while strengthening ties with the West.
