Dutch insurer Univé limits cover for Chinese car brands over parts shortage
Dutch insurer Univé has restricted coverage for vehicles from over a dozen brands, most of them Chinese. The reason is not poor vehicle quality but a lack of spare parts availability, technical documentation and adequate service networks. The move is a warning signal for European buyers of Chinese cars.
