100 days into deadliest Ebola outbreak, WHO says it can still be stopped
One hundred days have passed since the deadliest Ebola outbreak on record began in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Africa CDC head Jean Kaseya say community involvement is the key to halting transmission. Survivors, women's groups and local leaders in Bunia urged authorities to give them resources and a central role in the response.
