Poland signs framework contract for thousands of Piorun portable air defence systems

Poland's Armaments Agency has signed a framework contract for the delivery of several thousand Piorun portable air defence systems. The procurement will be co-financed through the EU's SAFE (Security Action for Europe) programme. The contract is described as historic due to the scale of the order.
