All-time record: Poles took out over 14 billion zloty in mortgage loans in July

The value of mortgage loans granted in Poland in July exceeded 14 billion zloty, setting an all-time record. The number of instalment loans rose by nearly 40 percent year on year. An expert from the Credit Information Bureau (BIK) points to rising borrowing capacity among average Poles as one of the main drivers of the boom.
