US cancels joint exercises with South Korea due to troop shortages from Iran war

The United States has cancelled joint amphibious exercises with South Korea scheduled for September, citing troop shortages caused by the ongoing war with Iran, South Korea's military announced. Last week, President Donald Trump also cut short separate joint manoeuvres between the two countries.
