€40,000 watch for Poland's Olympic chief: PiS dismisses scandal, KO demands answers
PiS prime ministerial candidate Przemysław Czarnek dismissed reports that Zondacrypto's CEO gave Polish Olympic Committee president Radosław Piesiewicz a €40,000 watch, saying "I don't care who gives what to whom anywhere in the world." Fellow PiS politician Marek Suski echoed the dismissal. Civic Coalition's Mariusz Witczak called Piesiewicz's explanation "completely implausible," adding it was plain to see the arrangement was a deal.
