US cancels South Korea drills due to personnel shortages from Iran war

The US has cancelled joint amphibious exercises with South Korea scheduled for September, citing personnel shortages caused by the ongoing war with Iran, the South Korean military announced Monday. President Donald Trump also cut short separate joint military manoeuvres last week.
