YouTube, Netflix and Amazon race to become the one app for all streaming

YouTube is racing to let users subscribe to rival streaming services directly within its app, mirroring a model already offered by Amazon, which includes access to HBO Max and other platforms. Netflix is also increasingly open to becoming part of such a bundle. The tech giants are competing to become the single hub through which viewers access all video content.
