Polish Supreme Court: childcare counts as financial contribution in divorce split
Poland's Supreme Court ruled that contributions to a marriage are assessed holistically — not just by income. A spouse who raises children while the other earns is considered to have contributed equally to the family estate. As a result, assets are split evenly upon divorce regardless of who brought home the salary.
