Hungarian Gripen fighter jet crashes near Szolnok — pilot ejects safely

One of the Hungarian Defence Forces' Gripen fighter jets crashed near the city of Szolnok, politician Péter Magyar announced. According to initial reports, the pilot managed to eject and survived. No damage to civilian infrastructure was reported. The cause of the crash has not yet been disclosed.
