Garbage mound collapse at Conakry landfill kills at least 30 people

A massive garbage mound collapsed at the largest landfill in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, killing at least 30 people and injuring more than 20 others. Heavy rains triggered the collapse. The disaster struck the site that serves as the main waste dump for the city.
