General Mirosław Różański, former Polish armed forces commander and senator, dies at 63

General Mirosław Różański, former commander of Poland's armed forces (2015–2017) and a sitting senator, has died at the age of 63. He had been a member of the Senate since 2023, initially representing Poland 2050 before co-founding the Nowa Polska-Centrum club after a party split. He had been battling cancer in recent months.
