Investigation launched into use of Hermes spyware against 12 journalists

An investigation has been launched into the ordering of surveillance of 12 journalists using the Hermes spyware system. The orders were issued by Jerzy Ziarkiewicz, then head of the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Lublin and a close associate of former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro. The case concerns events from the period when Ziobro led the Justice Ministry.
