New bishop council to meet at Jasna Góra on 25 August

For the first time, the annual gathering at Jasna Góra on 25 August will be attended by the Standing Council of Bishops rather than the Council of Diocesan Bishops, as in previous years. The change follows the adoption of a new statute by the Polish Episcopal Conference.
