Trump warns Republicans: lose the midterms and I face impeachment

Donald Trump warned Republicans that if Democrats win control of Congress in the November midterm elections, he will face impeachment proceedings. The US president told his party it would "lose everything" if Democrats take over. The warning has fuelled growing panic within Republican ranks ahead of the vote.
