PiS proposes raising second tax threshold to 180,000 PLN — government plans 130,000 PLN
PiS will submit a bill to raise Poland's second income tax threshold from the current 120,000 PLN to 180,000 PLN, according to the party's prime ministerial candidate Przemysław Czarnek. The ruling coalition plans a more modest increase to 130,000 PLN. Czarnek calculates that the difference between the two proposals amounts to 8,400 PLN more per year for a taxpayer.
