EU approves €6.1bn for Ukraine defence — air defence and missiles

The European Commission on Monday approved new defence procurement orders for Ukraine worth €6.1 billion. The funds come from the EU's previously agreed €90 billion loan to Ukraine. The tranche will be spent primarily on air defence and anti-missile systems as well as rockets.
