Sikorski warns German border controls would seriously harm Poland

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has warned that permanent German border controls, proposed by AfD co-leader Alice Weidel, would have serious economic consequences for Poland. Poland and Germany are closely integrated within the EU's single market. Sikorski urged Germany not to take steps that would disrupt the free movement of goods and people.
