MyDr data breach: the real threat is fake bank calls, not loans taken in your name
Following the cyberattack on the MyDr health platform, nearly 1.7 million Poles registered a PESEL freeze within a week, overwhelming registry offices in some cities. Banks reassure customers that stolen data alone is insufficient to take out a loan in someone else's name. The real danger, experts warn, is phishing and fraudulent calls from people impersonating bank employees.
