Poland operates a two-tier share ownership registration system: a brokerage account and the central KDPW depository. Your broker knows your portfolio, and companies you invest in can — via the issuer register and KDPW — identify larger shareholders. Small investors are protected by anonymity rules, but above certain thresholds share ownership must be disclosed publicly.
