Poland on track to produce up to 400,000 155mm shells a year by 2028

Poland is running several artillery ammunition programmes for 155mm shells, involving both state-owned and private manufacturers. State factories are set to reach an output of 180,000–200,000 rounds per year by 2027–2028, while private firms WB and Niewiadów are expected to add at least as many again. The combined capacity could reach around 400,000 shells annually.
