Landfill landslide in Guinea kills 30 people

A landfill landslide in Guinea killed at least 30 people after heavy rainfall triggered the collapse of a waste mound. The government had issued eviction orders to nearby residents in the days before the disaster, fearing a collapse. Despite the warnings, the landslide still proved fatal for dozens of people.
