Ukrainians with UKR PESEL status must verify identity by 31 August or lose benefits

Ukrainian citizens who received a PESEL number with UKR status without presenting a valid travel document must confirm their identity at a local municipal office by 31 August. Those who fail to do so will lose their UKR status and associated benefits, including the 800-plus child allowance, from 1 September, according to ZUS.
