Kazakhstan elects new single-chamber parliament; Tokayev's party wins over 70%

Kazakhstan held its first elections to the new single-chamber parliament, the Kurultai, on Sunday. According to exit polls cited by Reuters, the Adilet party, which backs President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, won over 70 percent of the vote. The election is part of constitutional reforms introduced by Tokayev.
