Three-quarters of English secondary schools break food standards — report

A report by Bite Back, a food charity founded by chef Jamie Oliver, found that 75% of nearly 400 state secondary schools in England are breaking school food standards. Schools are serving chips, burgers and hash browns too frequently, and offering sweets and crisps at breakfast. The findings were published on Monday, just ahead of a planned expansion of free school meals.
