Shein to debut on Hong Kong stock exchange with $27bn valuation
Fast-fashion giant Shein will make its stock market debut on the Hong Kong exchange on 1 September, with a valuation of close to $27 billion. That figure is sharply below earlier estimates, amid scrutiny over the company's environmental footprint. Founded in China and now headquartered in Singapore, Shein received Beijing's approval last month for the Hong Kong IPO.
