Poland's Security and Defence Fund 90% depleted after just six weeks

Within just six weeks, 114 applications totalling 15.7 billion zlotys were submitted to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, consuming over 90% of Poland's Security and Defence Fund. Prof. Marta Postuła, first deputy president of BGK, said the fund did not create artificial demand but revealed genuine pre-existing investment needs in the defence sector. Interest far exceeded the expectations of the fund's architects.
