Iran discovers 200-billion-cubic-metre gas reserve in Fars province

Iran announced on Sunday the discovery of over 200 billion cubic metres of natural gas in the southern Fars province, with more than 160 billion cubic metres considered potentially recoverable. The find comes as Iran's energy sector struggles with disruption caused by months of US-Israeli strikes on gas facilities, oil depots and transport routes.
