Japan to launch first-ever Mars moon sample mission in October
Japan's JAXA space agency announced it will launch its MMX probe on October 20, targeting Phobos, one of Mars's moons. The mission aims to collect samples from the moon's surface and return them to Earth — a first in human history. Scientists hope the samples will shed light on the origins of the Solar System.
