Swoboda finishes fifth as Alfred beats Jefferson-Wooden in 100m showdown

Ewa Swoboda finished fifth in the 100m at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial. The race was headlined by a showdown between Olympic champion Julien Alfred and world champion Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, their seventh all-time meeting, won by the American in 10.78 seconds. Swoboda, European vice-champion, put in a strong performance against the world's best.
